"A man's got to do something to keep warm. . . "

These are my children. They are cold. You see, when the house sits at a frigid 75 degrees, it is hard to keep warm. It isn't enough to wear long sleeves and a fleece robe. They have to gather every blanket they can find (today there are 7) and huddle together to conserve body heat. In our house this is officially named "a snuggle place", and they make them for each other as favors.

When they get feeling back into their stiff blue fingers, I will give them some breakfast, and we will treat the frost bite, probably with some thermal chocolate elixir. This is life in the sub-arctic. Don't you wish you were here?

Oh, those poor, poor children. Have you no COMPASSION???? They have to drown in sweat in order for their uncaring, unfeeling mom to fix a little HOT CHOCOLATE??? My, my, what is this world coming to?? ((: Oh, I DO miss those snuggly mornings!
