The first day of Snow

We had our first official snow day this weekend. . .

Remember when you could throw a snowball, but it would probably fall behind you?

Remember when you ate snow and didn't care what color it was?

We decided Gracen looks like a pink marshmallow, but she likes pink marshmallows, so it is a win win.

Snowball cookies: our tradition, and really the only thing that makes all the extra laundry worthwhile.

I thought about writing out the recipe for you all, but since my mom's handwriting is so pretty and she is all about the traditions, I thought I would just SHOW you instead.

I ate snow. It came from a machine and was packed into cone shaped cups with unnaturally colored syrup. I don't remember ever caring what color it was as long as it was a large.

I ate snow. Lots of snow. I think it may have had more calories then I thought! I hope the snow is still there when we arrive!
