Little Danny

My little Danny turned 3 today. So, let me tell you something about Danny. He is SWEET. He is always the first to say thank you. He once thanked my mom three times a day for three months for the one pair of pajamas. Tonight he got a toy plastic rifle for his birthday. He has been talking about them for a while, but when he opened it tonight, it was like he never thought someone would be so generous as to buy him one. He came out after he went to bed, just to tell me he had been wishing for a rifle like that, and thanks.

He is incredibly outgoing, and learns the names of the employees at our grocery stores. He has an uncanny ability to do puzzles, and loves memorizing the pieces. I often find him sitting quietly by himself on the sofa reading a magazine or looking through a book. Danny is always a favorite among the other kids, and brings joy to those he is with. He loves to snuggle, and gives hugs and kisses freely. He is a joy to have, and a delight to raise. Praise the Lord for this precious gift!

The faces this boy can make are pretty incredible.

Oh, and this is the last thing about Danny. He's clean. I've never seen one boy be so obsessed with napkins and sticky fingers. Tonight he wanted to erase his marker board message since it is now all over. He was thrilled to get to climb up and clean the board. Oy. I think this trait skips a generation. His children could be completely normal.
